Interior Furnishing
A room should feel
collected, not completed.
From a single room to a complete residence, CHROMA & CHORA develops furnishing schemes around proportion, colour, material and the way each space is lived in.

Furnishing for rooms, residences and selected commercial spaces.
Beginning with the architecture already in place, we develop a considered furnishing direction around the way the space will be used, the atmosphere it should hold and the relationship between colour, proportion, material and movement.
The service may include furniture planning, custom furniture, product selection, spatial visualisation, procurement, delivery coordination and final placement guidance.
Explore the service ↓This is a furnishing and furniture-planning service. It does not ordinarily include architectural renovation, structural work, building approval, electrical design or construction documentation unless expressly included in a separate written scope.
What the service may include.
The exact scope is developed around each project.
01
Furniture layout and spatial planning
Using the supplied floor plan and room dimensions, we consider circulation, scale, sightlines and the relationship between each piece.
02
Design direction
A clear visual direction for the project.
Colour relationships · Material and finish · Proportion · Visual weight · New and existing pieces · Atmosphere
03
Furniture selection
Pieces from the CHROMA & CHORA collection, customised designs and complementary furniture from selected external suppliers — each considered in relation to the complete room.
Seating · Tables · Storage · Beds · Lighting · Rugs · Mirrors · Objects
04
Custom furniture
Where a standard piece does not meet the room, we may adapt an existing design or develop a bespoke piece. Quoted separately; production begins after written approval and full payment.
05
Spatial visualisations
Rendered room views communicating arrangement, scale, colour relationships and atmosphere. Screen-based colours may differ from physical materials.
06
Furniture schedule
A schedule of proposed furniture, quantities, dimensions, materials, finishes and suppliers, so design and procurement costs can be reviewed clearly.
07
Procurement
A separate quotation covering purchases, custom production, freight and delivery. No furniture is ordered until it has been approved and paid.
08
Delivery coordination and placement
Deliveries coordinated and pieces placed to the approved plan. Assembly, installation and specialist access only where expressly stated.
The intention is not to fill every available surface. It is to establish a composition in which each object has a reason to be present.

Scope and design fee
A written proposal sets out the design scope, design fee, payment requirements, anticipated stages and any exclusions.
Design development
We develop the spatial arrangement, furniture direction, colour relationships and material language of the project.
Design presentation
Layouts, concept boards, colour and material selections, custom furniture concepts and rendered views, as specified in the scope.
Final design approval
The furniture plan, selections, specifications and visual direction are finalised following the agreed revision process.
Procurement quotation
