About CHROMA & CHORA
Colour, space and the objects that change them.
CHROMA & CHORA is an Australian-based collection of sculptural furniture and objects for expressive interiors. We look for pieces with a clear relationship to colour, proportion and use: furniture that performs its function while changing the atmosphere around it.
The name
The name brings together chroma, meaning colour, and chora, meaning space or place. One describes what is seen; the other, where life takes form. CHROMA & CHORA considers furniture at the point where those ideas meet.
The collection
The collection moves between generous upholstered forms, structured tables, storage, lighting and smaller objects. Pieces are considered individually, but always with the wider room in mind: how a curve redirects movement, how a colour changes the light, or how one strong object gives quieter elements something to gather around.
The approach
Our furniture is made to order rather than held as anonymous stock. Selected pieces may also be considered in alternative dimensions or finishes where their construction allows. This approach keeps the conversation focused on the piece, the room and the way the two will live together.
The showroom
CHROMA & CHORA can be experienced in a private residential setting in Sydney. Viewings are available by appointment for those who would like to spend time with the scale, texture and colour of selected pieces.
