Delivery and Access
Plan the path before the piece arrives.
A piece may fit perfectly within a room and still be unable to reach it.
Delivery methods
The delivery method is selected according to the product’s size, weight, fragility, destination and handling requirements.
Orders may be delivered through:
- Standard parcel or courier services for suitable smaller items
- Specialist furniture carriers
- Appointment-based metropolitan delivery
- Interstate freight services where available
- Project-specific delivery and placement services
The service available for a particular order will be shown at checkout or confirmed separately.
Standard online orders
Where delivery can be calculated automatically, the available service and charge will appear during Shopify checkout.
Some products, oversized pieces, regional destinations and restricted-access properties cannot be accurately priced through automatic checkout. In these cases, we may contact the customer or provide a separate delivery quotation.
Custom and project orders
Delivery for customised furniture, bespoke pieces and Interior Furnishing projects is quoted separately unless expressly included in the product or project quotation.
The delivery price may consider:
- Product dimensions and weight
- Quantity of furniture
- Delivery suburb and postcode
- Number of delivery personnel required
- Lift, stair and corridor access
- Distance from the vehicle to the property
- Loading-dock or parking restrictions
- Assembly and placement requirements
- Required delivery period
- Storage or staged delivery requirements
Delivery estimates
Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless a date has been expressly confirmed in writing.
Estimated dates may be affected by production, supplier availability, freight networks, weather, building access and other matters outside the immediate control of CHROMA & CHORA.
Where a significant delay becomes known, we will take reasonable steps to provide updated information.

If the recipient cannot attend, contact us or the nominated provider before the scheduled delivery.
